Stellar inventory awards

Congratulations to the following techs for receiving the latest Stellar Inventory Awards! In order to receive this award, techs must have under 25 total adjustments and under $200 in total adjustments during their van inventory. Our customers are our #1 priority. Having accurate, clean, and organized van inventory provides them with quicker repairs + first time fixes due to the part not only being on the van, but also in new + operational condition. This impressive achievement wins each of these techs a $200 Home Depot giftcard!

Congratulations to our three Build-A-Tech Program graduates! For the past 17 weeks these three individuals have completed many hours of classroom and on-the-job training focusing on electricity, gas + steam equipment, refrigeration and customer service + safety. Shadonna Thessen-Stewart (DCMV), Darrius Thomas (Baltimore) and Anthony Monachelli (Delaware Valley) will now be performing planned maintenance in their continued training to become official technicians. We are very proud of their hard work + dedication to this program and the industry.

foodservice equipment reports | Maintenance: How to Stay Reliably Cool

Don Jones (DCMV refrigeration service manager) has dealt with his fair share of emergency calls and says they often take priority due to the food safety risks attached.

In the latest Foodservice Equipment Reports article, Jones says failure to properly maintain cold-side equipment can result in damage that may require a full replacement, so following proper maintenance procedures is money in the bank.

Maryland Hotel Lodging Association membership breakfast

Emily Martin (sales and marketing manager) repped EMR last month at MHLA’s annual meeting and member appreciation breakfast. It was great to hear from local and national leaders in the hotel + lodging industry on topics affecting operators this year. Always a pleasure to run into Ruth Toomey from Maryland Tourism Coalition and meet some new contacts to kick off the year with MHLA!

restaurant association of MD: taste of md

Thank you to RAM for a successful and delicious 32nd annual Taste of Maryland! The Graduate Annapolis Hotel was filled with the best bites, brews, and wines in MD. EMR reps, Charles Blair (Baltimore sales) + Emily Martin (sales and marketing manager) picked a few favorites - the beef carpaccio crostini from The Local, the boom boom shrimp crostini from Crossroads Bistro and crab cakes from our friends at Phillips Seafood were a 10/10! It's always nice mingling with fellow hospitality leaders and state legislators and hearing from RAM's Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Melvin Thompson on advocacy efforts on behalf of this important industry for the state of MD.

virginia restaurant lodging travel association: taste of va

Susie Trader (Salisbury sales) repped EMR at VRLTA’s Taste of VA and legislative reception last month in Richmond. The event draws more than 200 attendees and educates members on important state legislation and policy initiatives - all while networking with fellow industry members and sampling delicious food and beverages from across the state!

new castle county chamber of commerce: membership mixer

Rich Falkowski (Delaware Valley sales) had the pleasure and privilege to spend the evening mixing it up with the incredible members of the NCCCC at last month’s membership mixer. The evening was spent enjoying delicious food from Out of the Ordinary Catering and celebrating with the winners of this year's awards. Thank you to the NCCCC for another memorable event!

Na'Im has performed services at The Common Kitchen many times. He is very easy to work with, communicates well, and is very respectful and knowledgeable. He was able to fix our issue quickly and without causing any disruption to our daily routine. I also appreciate that he asked about our other equipment and if we had any other issues currently that we were waiting for service on. That shows me that he cares about our overall operation as well as the job that he was here to do. Always great service!

Matt showed up on time. He listened and understood the situation and applied that understanding throughout the inspection. He was thorough and comprehensive and obviously understood the technical aspects of the task. He was sharp, focused, efficient and attentive. Great job. A very positive reflection on EMR

BILLIRICH STAMP

BALTIMORE TECH

I was working on a piece of equipment that I was not familiar with. I knew that Bill was familiar with this issue on this unit. I called Bill. Bill picked up his phone, even though he had already completed his day and was off the clock and proceeded to help me for about 20 minutes. During this time, he video called me and shared his knowledge of the situation. Bill was off of the clock and did not have to pick up, but he did so with a pleasant disposition and was very helpful.

Steve Adams, Baltimore Tech

While Rose was out of the office, Sam picked up an email I sent to Rose asking for some help in identifying a few purchase orders we needed in accounting to reconcile credit card charges. Sam went out of his way to go online and pull a copy of one invoice in particular that I couldn't get the vendor to help me with. Sam thought outside of his own position, listened to what we needed and came to the rescue! Thanks Sam!
